As a hobbyist, your Web programming is a part-time activity, with challenges a full-time developer doesn't face. What should be a fun activity can lapse into delays and frustration if you lack the tools and techniques to keep your software development on a smooth track. This website features Coder's Crib Sheet and other aids to help you avoid such slumps.
Basics are common practices I have validated by personal experience. Tips are outside-the-box tools and techniques I have developed. Both sections remain a work in progress while this note appears.
Language-dependent Features
- Coder's Crib Sheet allows quick lookup of hard-to-remember syntax details and copy-and-paste code snippets for JavaScript, Perl and PHP.
- HTML Forms -- code for using text boxes, checkboxes, radio buttons, popup menus, and scrolling lists.
Menu links terminating in "(*)" let you select languages of interest while excluding the others to minimize clutter.
